I started out as a horse crazy young girl hanging around various stables. As I grew older I managed to own a few horses over the years and do various different disciplines with them. It was in the mid-eighties when the dressage bug bit and I purchased my first serious horse, Muskat. He took me from basic to grand prix and all the levels in between. I turned professional around 1992 and have been at various times multiple local, provincial and national champions at all levels, as have my students.

I have taken multiple clinics but have trained predominately with Bonny Bonnello and Tom Dvorak. I am currently working with Albrecht Heidemann, for the last 3 years, who is a stickler for details and very much follows the classical system, he’s great!

I am very excited to introduce my new prospect Extra C, he is 2009 Black Dutch Warmblood gelding by Don Shufro out of a Sandro Hit mare. I started him in May and he is proving to be an exceptional student. Extra is quick to pick up on things, has a wonderful disposition and has been nothing but fun so far. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.

Some highlights of my career are:

1994: Medium IV Canadian Champion
1995: Advanced Reserve Canadian Champion.
           Team Bronze, Can/Am Challenge
1996: Short listed for the Canadian Team.
Team and Individual Silver, Trivett Cup Challenge, Australia
